This position will work closely with the Java docs server development team to polish and deliver the next-generation of Sheetster web spreadsheet application. Skills Required:
  • Web: HTML, CSS, Javascript: ability to design and code clean and functional web sites using XHTML, CSS, Server-Side Includes, and JSP

  • AJAX: Understanding and familiarity with AJAX concepts, ability to create and utilize Javascript functions to create a dynamic and responsive web user interface.
  • Knowledge of Prototype.js, script.aculo.us and/or jquery and other AJAX/Javascript toolkits and frameworks.

  • XML: Ability to create well-formed data-driven XML pages. Familiarity with creating RSS feeds and other standard XML outputs.
  • Java: familiarity with Java, Object Oriented Programming, unit testing concepts, and code experience, ability to utilize custom Java objects in JSP web pages using standard JavaDoc API docs as reference.

Java Programmer Full-Time

This position will
work on the Java docs server development team to polish and
deliver the next-generation of Sheetster web spreadsheet server APIs.

Responsibilities also include miscellaneous projects including iPad/iPhone development, building integration adapters for 3rd party systems, and sample/demo apps demonstrating usage of our developer tools.

In addition to projects, daily tasks might include developing and maintaining JUnit tests, fixing bugs, developing new product features and API enhancements, documenting new functionality and developing sample code and apps, and providing pre/post-sales support to potential customers.

Skills Required:
  • Java: 3 years + experience with Java, Object Oriented Programming, unit
    testing concepts, and code experience, ability to work with byte-level streams as well as define and refine customer-facing APIs.
  • Web services: experience with RESTful web services as a provider and consumer, OAuth and OpenID authentication api experience a plus
  • Web: HTML,
    CSS, Javascript: ability to design and code clean and functional web
    sites using XHTML, CSS, Server-Side Includes, and JSP pages
  • AJAX: Understanding and familiarity with AJAX concepts, ability
    to create and utilize Javascript functions to create a dynamic and
    responsive web user interface.
